The staff were all SUPER friendly, loved that. The lobby was clean and well kept. Our room was clean enough but the bedding and towels were old full of holes and tattered. They must be renovating because I was woke up at 4:30am to workers working on the rooms next to mine being very load. I walked out to tons of works coming in and out, up and down the stairs and working on the surrounding rooms. Guess that was my alarm to get up and on the road so we don’t know how the breakfast was :/

The check in gave a good impression but the room smelled of cleaner of some sort! The towels were stained and the bedding smelled! The room was definitely outdated and the breakfast was ok good coffee, juice ,cereal and muffins and bread for toast and pancakes I can’t complain about that! Whatever cleaner they used was so strong I couldn’t even get that smell out of my throat and it gave me a headache and kept me awake! Definitely would not be back!

A gem in Gallup

Room was clean and it kind of exceeded my expectation. It is a gem tucked away in the desert. Breakfast was modest, but enough to get the day started. Will stay again in the future.

Worth the money

Definitely worth the money. A good room with comfortable bed makes you sleep good. Poor breakfast in the morning, but with that price you can’t ask for more

Let’s be honest, the reason you stay at the roadway Inn is to have a place to sleep. It’s not a vacation spot. The staff member who checked me in was great. When I complained that there was no pillowcases, she took care of it right away. The room is outdated. The TV was broken. When I got up this morning and realized there was no towels, just the wash cloth and hand towels, I just used what I had after my shower. The staff person at check out was fine. Not social, but not rude either. Last night’s staff was wonderful. Would I stay here again? Probably not. The only good thing was the staff person working last night and that I got a good nights sleep. The free breakfast sucks. I don’t expect a 5 star hotel/motel, but this place was awful. It gets a second star only because of the employee who was working when I checked in.

Nice and cheap place to stay.

Staff get a 10 out of 10 for friendly and professional. Having to pay $10 for my dogs stay should have been disclosed on hotels.com. Room was clean and comfortable but needs general maintenance. The breakfast was sad for selection but probably accurate for the price we paid. If you want a clean place to sleep and don’t care about water damage in the bathroom and light fixtures coming out of the walls. For the price the beds were nice. Just don’t be to uptight about the conditions of rooms.
