"Older building but well maintained. Room and hallway are kept very clean. Staff are friendly and polite. Hotel location is to close to multiple convenient stores, eateries, night market and supermarket. However, as a business traveler, I found multiple small issues: 1) wall power outlets are located at the weirdest clearance-restricted spaces, so it's impossible to plug in modern day block-type charging adapters; 2) bathroom lighting is very very dim with spot-type illumination that only narrowly pointing at the sink, so it's hard to groom or style your hair - I can't imagine women applying makeup in such poorly lit space; and 3) speed-controlled WiFi (exactly at 6Mbps no matter time of the day) that is hard for business people that may need to burst-download documents or files. Overall, a good hotel but if you are on a business trip, there may be a few things that aren't very friendly."

"My wife and I enjoyed out eight-night stay at Landis. Staff were all extremely attentive, courteous, and helpful, including the cleaning staff, who checked daily (sometimes twice a day) if we needed anything. Check-in was quick and efficient, and a porter brought our luggage to the room. We had a pleasant stay and would consider booking again. There is an elegant Chinese restaurant on the lower lever of the hotel with some nice decorations, and the head waiter assisted us in choosing several entrees as we were not familiar with much of what was on the menu. Breakfast is served daily on the lobby level in what during the day is a French restaurant. "

"It was a good location and pretty clean. There were unlimited snacks and drinks which was nice. I was walked in on once by the cleaning person and they didn’t knock. I had my door locked too so not sure how they still got in. The shower was also inconsistent and would get really cold or really hot occassionally"

"It’s a beautiful, grand, and spotless hotel. Very spacious and well designed room. We had buffet breakfast here daily. There was a very large selection of food (meat/seafood, soup, dumplings, congee, fruits, salads, cheeses, pastries,…) which was satisfying and by far the best overall hotel breakfast offered (France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, S. Korea, Japan that I’ve been to). Very courteous and efficient staff to assist at any time. "
