"Stayed at the pony hof last minute when passing by on an older family touring holiday, young family oriented activity hotel, fantastically well organised, accommodation, food and staff brilliant ,also stunning surroundings.Great for all ages."
"Good deal with summer card and one free entry to grossglockner hochalpinestrasse. Bathroom was a bit small but clean. Friendly service and good breakfast "
"Iâve been on vacation for 1-1/2 weeks and bar none, this was the nicest hotel I had stayed in, everything about it was great, the bed, the shower, the way to control the temperature, The staff, the breakfast, everything I wished I would have stayed there more nights than I did."
"Very well received by front desk lady. She was gracious and extremely helpful.
Renovation taking place but it did not impede the stay one bit. Central to everything, highly recommend the hotel."
"The stay was nice, its a beautiful staycation, Marcus and Michael were very nice to us. The sad part was we couldnât experience the night stay as we got locked out due to a miscommunication from them. Had a car to sleep luckily. We did get in in the morning and had a nice breakfast and some bed sleep.
They said they wouldnât charge for stay and breakfast so I thought they were genuinely sorry. But the refund never came.
So there is a large scope of improvement.
But its a nice and cozy stay....
"Probably the best deal in Bad Gastein.
Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff, in a great location right next to the train station, ski lift and supermarket."

"The property is close to the center, clean and convenient.. the staff are helpful
The breakfast is good but limited
I like also the availability of bidet in the toilet
I just would recommend the property to reconsider daily cleaning of the rooms and the use of perfumes in the loby "
"Amazing experience! Beautiful reception area on 4th floor offers a wall of windows, glass doors, and a patio out to mountain views. Very comfortable room. Hikes nearby. "
"Very nice hotel, great spa.
Unfortunately there are less and less places run by Austrians.
It is more and more difficult to find a Weiner Schnitzel from year to year, being replaced by halal kebab.

"Wow!! We only stayed at Hotel Zum Hirschen for one night in room 346, but we did not want to leave and wished we couldâve stayed longer. This hotel is fantastic, great staff, great food, nice bar, a lovely little pool and the saunas. The rooms are incredible, spacious enough to stay for an extended period as they are like mini apartments. The bed was amazing and the pillows so soft. The room was quiet, cool and dark. Slept like a baby đ€
We were able to park our motorcycle in the adjoining covered garage. Reception ladies both lovely and friendly as well as the restaurant staff. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of hot and cold dishes.
We could not fault the hotel on any level, clean and spotless, with pleasing decor. We want to come back and would highly recommend. "
"Everything was wonderful, especially the staff from the balkans, they were amazing.
But it is 2025, you have superchargers outside but cant manage to make wifi work even though there was not much guests.
This is minimum requirement for the kind of stay and money we spent. "
"We had a beautiful long weekend, exceptional staff and massage, and enjoyed the location of the hotel with direct access to the panoramic walking/hiking paths - to town & the waterfall or Bad Hofgastein. Can absolutely recommend!"
