I visited this hotel in 2022, and visit again this year (2026). The room seems newly renovated and looks very new, clean and updated. The staff is friendly, helpful as always. This hotel is certainly worth it.

Service was excellent and the breakfast and happy hour was the best I have ever experienced in this price range. The only downside is the location on a hillside and the walk up the hill is pretty steep and not for anyone too elderly.

My stay at Hotel Rayuku was simply amazing. Everything was perfect—from the warm and attentive service provided by the staff to the excellent food that exceeded expectations. The views from the room were breathtaking, and everything was spotless and perfectly organized. The stay was absolutely fabulous! The room was beautiful with the best view imaginable. The onsen was often available just for oneself, making the experience especially relaxing. The tastings offered throughout the day were outstanding and a real highlight. In just ten minutes, one can reach the lake and the ropeway, making the location super convenient. Highly recommended for anyone seeking relaxation and breathtaking scenery!

Enjoyed the amazing view from the lobby and our room. Also really loved all the delicious food served in their club lounge. Friendly staff, nice location… it is quite steep of a walk up and down the narrow road, but doable. Already planning to come back on our next trip to Japan!
