"Good breakfast"

"The hotel was a disaster. The only thing working properly was the breakfast guy’s smile — clearly the hotel’s entire maintenance budget went into him. Not much of choice for breakfast, better paid outside to get more options"

"The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Cologne. Check in was easy and the room was well proportioned and had everything we’d need. A de reasons it wasn’t a 5 star for us was the sheets were incredibly itchy. We both had a rash on our legs after night one and this continued during our stay. The room was quite dusty and the bathroom had marks all over the tiles of old shampoo. On our first night, my husband got a beer from the bar. The server unloaded and re-loaded the dishwasher and wiped all the surfaces before paying us any attention, even though we were the only people there. I asked for an Aperol Spritz and she said they could only do beer. She told us to pay at the main desk and didn’t come over to take our payment for almost ten minutes. Pretty good overall, but these stood out to us. "

"Couldn’t find the gym, not sure if they actually have one. However great area to run in. Staff really friendly, rooms are great size for lone travelers. The breakfast was also amazing, tons of options to fit dietary needs if you have any. The bread was also amazing. "

"It’s a young people’s hotel. Clean and comfortable of loud. Amenities like hot drinks in a corridor rather than my room not for me. Perfectly good and good value for a type of traveller - just not this one ☺️ 51 year old business traveller."
