**I do provide a ring security camera that covers the driveway, parking area, and entrance to the home.**
There is vinyl plank flooring in the great room and bedrooms, and primary bathroom and tile flooring in the hall bathroom and kitchen. There are lots of windows that let in the natural sunlight in the living room.
The spacious kitchen has granite countertops and stainless appliances. There is both a traditional Cuisinart coffee maker as well as a Keurig with frother, French press, 4 slice toaster, Vitamix blender, handheld blender, handheld mixer, salad spinner, crock pot, rice maker, large electric griddle and an electric kettle. The dining area has seating for 6 and there is also bar seating for 2. There is plenty of space to enjoy board games or to work on a puzzle. If you can’t unplug, the home does have a desk, Star Link wireless internet service and offers good cell phone reception. The tv is streaming only with access to Paramount+, Hulu and Disney+, HBO Max, and Peacock. If you use other apps to stream, please be sure to bring your log in information.
Kittiwake Getaway offers 3 bedrooms with well-appointed sleeping for 6. The primary bathroom has a king size bed with an attached ensuite with a large shower surrounded by glass enclosure and is stocked with plush linens, shampoo and conditioner, bath and facial bar soaps and body gel. The same amenities are provided in the other bathroom. There is a king size bed in one of the other bedrooms and a queen size bed in the other. There is also a queen size air mattress available for a 7th guest, provided upon request, which is considered a 4th bed. It can be easily placed in the living room. Kittiwake Getaway does allow up to 7 guests. There is an additional fee for the 7th guest. Please see other listing details.
The expansive deck with a peekaboo view of the ocean across to Speiden Island offers a dining table with seating for 6, propane firepit table and propane barbeque grill (1 filled propane bottle for each provided) and is a great place to relax and unwind from a day's adventure, or to enjoy the serenity of the surroundings which include beautiful madrona, fir, and evergreens and abundant wildlife such as deer, eagles, native birds and fox.
Kittiwake Getaway is just 1 1/2 miles from Roche Harbor Resort Pool available to Roche Harbor Guests and the public (you) for a daily fee. The pool is seasonal and occasionally closed to the public so be sure to check what the availability is during the dates you stay.
**Dog** Friendly! We allow up to 2 dogs with an additional fee per dog per stay. Please see other listing details. VRBO does not provide the ability to add and pay for more than 1 pet at this time. Please let me know if you are bringing 2 dogs so I can send you the Pet Fee request for the second dog. No other pets are allowed.
While traveling it is often difficult to anticipate what the accommodations will consist of when you arrive. At “Kittiwake Getaway”, every effort has been made to provide an inviting “home away from home”. I have not skimped during the process of supplying the home with sundries, kitchen/ household items, appliances, and cookware. The home is meticulously cleaned between bookings. You can feel confident that every effort will be made to make sure your stay is a good and safe experience! No smoking allowed on the premises. Please remember, you are a guest, not a host. No more than booked number of guests and pets allowed on premises.
