"Charmant petit hôtel bien placé au Gosier en dehors des zones trop touristiques. Une bulle de calme autour d’un magnifique jardin avec piscine. Repris depuis quelques mois par ses nouveaux propriétaires qui apporte une touche familiale à l’endroit. On ressent leur volonté de reprendre en main cet établissement qui le mérite."

The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The breakfast is improved from last year and has more options to choose from. The restaurant staff could improve in greeting clients and restaurant cleanness."

"This was the best hotel stay we have ever experienced. Upon arrival we were greeted with the friendliest reception staff. The entire week that was carried through with every staff member we encountered. Our room was very clean and daily housekeeping kept it sparkling all week. The grounds are gorgeous and the walk through the gardens to the beach took my breath every time. We are already planning our return trip next year. "

"Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Beach not crowded. Lots of beach chairs. We stayed in a 3rd floor room with a kitchen and loft. Had a problem with all the stairs--I missed any mention that this type of room was on the third floor. I would have booked something on the first floor if I had known. "PROs: The property is very clean. The gardens and grounds are kept neat and all areas are clean. The huge pool is wonderful. It is a secure resort so we felt very safe. On-site grocery was great to keep costs down. Inexpensive food options are available (cafe with crepes; pizza, etc), there are nightly activities (dancing, music, etc). "This was our first time staying on the French side, at Esmeralda. Overall, it is a decent resort; it consists of small villages, each containing four guest rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean, and every village shares a swimming pool among its four units. The resort grounds feature a French restaurant serving very delicious food.
