"The property itself is beautiful, and the exterior grounds are very well maintained. The rooms are small but quaint, and the overall aesthetic of the place is charming (nice view). Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the interior did not match the quality of the outside.
When we arrived, there was pink mildew/mold on the shower hose and along the edges of the shower, so I had to clean it myself before using it. There were also popcorn kernels scattered on the floor near the bed, which made it clear the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned.
On top of that, the cleaning staff attempted to enter our room without knocking, which startled my girlfriend because she thought someone was trying to break in. The room next to us had placed trash outside for housekeeping to pick up, but it sat there for two full days without being removed.
This hotel has a lot of potential and truly beautiful surroundings, but the cleanliness and housekeeping practices inside the rooms need significant improvement."
