● Location: Surfside Beach community of Freeport, Texas

● Beach Access: Less than a 2 minute drive to Surfside Beach.

● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

● Pet Policy: 3 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.

● Large Groups: We love hosting church groups and large family gatherings, however groups over the size of 16 guests must be approved prior to booking.

● Parking: There is room for 6-7 vehicles in the driveway.

This expansive beach house boasts a flowing open floor plan on the main level, perfect for socializing. The inviting living area seamlessly blends with a well-equipped kitchen, creating a central hub for your group. Ample seating ensures everyone has a comfortable spot to relax or catch a movie on the flatscreen TV.

Step outside through glass doors onto the expansive deck, your own slice of paradise. Unwind with refreshing drinks at the outdoor bar, soak up the sun, or curl up with a good book in the shade. This deck has plenty of space to dine al fresco, or relax and take in the sounds of the island.

The Walloping Whale offers six bedrooms, comfortably accommodating your entire crew. Four bedrooms are conveniently located on the main level, each offering a unique sleeping arrangement. One features a king-size bed, another has two queen beds and two full sized built-in bunks, while a third bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and features a king bed and a triple twin bunk set. The fourth main level room is a bright and cozy built-in bunk room, ideal for kids with a twin-over-twin-over-full setup.

Head upstairs to discover a large fun-filled upper bunk room, ideal for large groups. This room contains two standalone queen sized beds. Then on the back wall of the room are three sets of three-tiered bunk beds. Each built-in bunk is configured as twin-over-full-over-queen. This level also features a delightful game room, complete with a ping pong table, foosball table, wet bar, and a living area with a flatscreen TV.

With effortless access to local restaurants, cafes, and of course, the stunning beach, The Walloping Whale is the ideal location for a memorable Texas Gulf Coast getaway with family and friends.

● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

We are unable to price match any rates found on other booking platforms.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 16 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
