Enjoy the beauty of your New Hampshire vacation in this spacious, centrally located lodge, situated in the picturesque Mittersill Alpine Village. This beautifully decorated home has plenty of room for the whole family and boasts a stunning view of the western skyline and the surrounding forest. Enjoy home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen and end each evening curled up next to the outdoor fireplace with a mug of hot chocolate. The Mittersill Alpine Village is perfectly situated to provide you and your family with easy access to outdoor adventure. You'll be one mile west of Cannon Mountain Ski Resort, which is home to 11 lifts and 97 trails and glades each winter. And the beauty of the White Mountains is on full display in Franconia Notch State Park (two miles east), where you can swim in Echo Lake or hike a lovely section of the Appalachian Trail.

We enjoyed our stay, but we had a few issues. We were not able to get the main big screen tv in the living room to work. Tried calling and then texting for help. I think that after we could not get it to work, someone should have been sent there to help fix the problem.The trash was the second problem. Both cans on the porch were full and stinking. A look into the garage revealed many more trash bags stacked against one wall.Definitely not something you should expect at a vacation rental. The gas fire pit did not work either.The design of the house was a little quirky but still nice.Overall we liked the house.

This stay was perfect! Yard was welcoming. The carpets were stained, but that's what happens.

The house was perfect for my family of 9!loved the kitchen, dining, open concept . View was amazing at sunset.

Nice stay

Property and area are great. Only complaint was we were greeted by a mouse within 5 minutes of entering the house. I have an autistic daughter who had a rough time with this. It’s obvious the owner knows of these pests as things in the kitchen are covered in plastic. Think they need to set some traps

Rustic White Mt Getaway

Tons of space!! Decently appointed. Priced right! Quirky location behind Mittersal resort. Super interesting multi level design. 5 star 2 night stay!! Only complaint was that the gas grill hasn’t been cleaned this millennium. We tried to use it... big fire inside (we were trying to cook chicken.. nothing fatty). Had to use stove to cook the meal! The fire was very off putting!!

Wonderful mountain getaway

We had such a wonderful stay at the Alpine lodge. There was plenty of room for our large group - a great place to enjoy a vacation with our children and grandchildren. I found the carpeted floors and minimal amount of stairs to be a plus, since we had a toddler rambling around the house as d it was blessedly safe for him. There were plenty of comfortable seating areas, comfy beds, ample large windows and light...And that heavenly mountain air that we wanted to pack up and bring home with us. The property had so much privacy, a large yard surrounded by trees, a few deck areas to sit out on and watch the kids play. THe decor was elegantly rustic. We all loved it. Two of the bedrooms had lofts , each leading to a bedroom area with an extra bed. We went in the heat of the summer, so it was a little too hot for us to use at the time, but during other times of the year it would probably provide a fun and cozy additional place to sleep. (Maybe fans in these areas would help in the summer). All the other rooms had that wonderful breeze running through the house at night. We were also close to the Franconia bike trail, hikes, water holes, and more. It was a short trip, but we would have loved to stay even longer! THanks for lending us your lovely home!

Great place

We loved the location and the size and layout of the home. The carpet was a little dated/old and the kitchen was missing a few essentials like salt & pepper and a large cooking pot. But overall we enjoyed our stay.
