West front of St Edmund's chapel, Fraisthorpe, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, seen from the northwest. The chapelry of Fraisthorpe was united with Barmston rectory in 1929. Before that it had been combined with the benefice of Carnaby. The ecclesiastical parishes remained separate until 1979 when the new parish of Barmston with Fraisthorpe was created and united with that of Skipsea with Ulrome. The civil parish of Fraisthorpe with Auburn was made part of the new Barmston civil parish in 1935.

We found these beach style ‘crop circles’ walking along the beach from Fraisthorpe to the Spa, loved seeing these today. The south beach is great in Bridlington. A wide, clean expanse of sand that gently shelves down to the sea. Perfect on a sunny day.
