"The night desk clerk was amazing. The power went out 5 minutes after checking in due to a storm. The generator would not start. The clerk helped everyone who came in the door, get thier room, help carry thier baggage up the stairs, trying to get results from local power company, and owner to resolve the issues. She did all this with a very positive attitude. She was outstanding."

Holiday Inn Purdue - Fort Wayne by IHG

"Parking is easy, secure, and plentiful. Everything is nice, although the rooms could use a bit of updating, and my room was very dark. There were two lamps. One sat in the far corner, but I couldn't use it, as I needed the outlet for my stuff. The second was between the beds. One bulb wasn't working, and the light didn't add much to the room. "

"Very enjoyable and serene place to stay!"
Days Inn by Wyndham Fort Wayne

"Wow. Surprisingly affordable, clean, and very comfortable. If you're a solo traveler or just don't feel like paying for all the extras, this is your hotel. Lots of blue-collar, working people who go to sleep early and leave early, so it's quiet and spacious. They even throw in a breakfast, which I wouldn't expect from a smaller hotel. After a certain time, all the check-in is done via a kiosk. A person in (presumably) another country greets you via webcam, takes all your information, etc. And you know what? They did a great job! Very friendly, very informative and actually quite funny! If you see this, thank you Kyra! It was like being in Bladerunner or something...definitely surreal. All and all, great affordable hotel."
