"This was a unique stay in an old mansion, which was very well decorated. I loved the furniture!! Quiet neighborhood, and a friendly Siamese cat that demanded cuddles on the front porch, which I gladly gave. I was in town to visit my cousin who goes to Benedictine College, so didn't really do much in St. Joseph itself, except eat dinner at Boudreaux, which was tasty. "

"Beautiful views and everything was so comfortable, especially the couch and the master bedroom. My sister said the loft bed was also very comfortable. She enjoyed working out on the balcony with the river view. We all enjoyed hanging on the balcony with the neighborhood cat. Only negative was that the washer and dryer had a Do Not Use sign and we had come from another stay at a BnB in Weston and had really been wanting to wash a load of laundry when we got there. "

"The cabin was very nice and easily accessible. We really enjoyed the views of the Missouri River from the double set of large glass doors. The setting was very quiet if you don’t count the train whistles which I don’t mind at all but should be noted if you’re a light sleeper. "Nice small quiet neighborhood cat fishing out the back door!! Wouldn’t recommend swimming as the river moves very fast. Comfortable beds. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Nice get away for a family if you are looking for peace and quiet. "
