This is a wonderful hotel located on the Piazza della Repubblica and is convenient to both the Duomo and the Uffizi Galleries. The historic hotel was comfortable, clean and well maintained, especially for a 150 year old property. We would definitely consider staying here again on any future trips to Florence.

This stay was so much fun stay, starting with the quick checkin to a nice big room with balcony facing the plaza, listening to music from the plaza. The following morning started with a smiley face cappuccino and a nice breakfast buffet . Back at the room, opening the balcony door and listening to music on the plaza. The staff was always nice and helpful, the room very clean, the location perfect, walking to many restaurants and attractions.

Loved this hotel!! Wish I could go back! Overlooking the Piazza Della Repubblica. Hotel rooms are well appointed. Great AC during the heatwave. Lovely and helpful staff. And the most amazing and varied breakfast in the most beautiful room while playing classic Italian music. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It’s one of the best I’ve ever stayed in anywhere!

We loved this hotel. From booking to checking out the communication was top notch. We arrived early and left our bags at reception and went out to explore. We were able to check in after 1pm which was nice to be able to change. The location is perfect: close to great restaurants and shops. We found that the accommodation was tastefully decorated and perfect for three people which is not always easy to find. The air conditioning was also so welcome on a hot day. The lobby always had water, juice and hot tea. The breakfast was also incredible. The staff even brought out cappuccinos for us. Will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence and hope to be back one day.
