Old style hotel, absolutely loved it! Clean, big rooms and staff were friendly, helpful and professional, breakfast was great too. Close to the railway station and very close to all the attractions. Highly recommended!

We loved this hotel and it's people during our stay. We were right in the middle of the old town of Florence and could walk anywhere we wanted to tour. The staff was kind and helpful with anything we asked of them. Our room was large, clean, and our window could open so we could hear the street sounds of the old city.

The clean rooms with AC while being within walking distance of everything your average tourist wants to visit made our visit to Florence simple and enjoyable. Of the three hotels we stayed at in Italy, their bed was the most comfortable, but still really firm for us. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

This hotel was very nice, clean and quite full of history. The buildings in Florence are old but this one was very well maintained and a beautiful hotel with character and charm. Breakfast had good choices and variety. The rooms are big compared to more modern buildings and takes you back in time. And the staff were friendly and helpful. We were centrally located and everything was easy to get to. I would love to stay here again.

Old, unique hotel with a lot of stairs and a small, slow elevator. Our room was huge, but the laminate floor near the bathroom gave when we waled on it, felt like we might fall through. Location is great, between Santa Maria and the Duomo. Very easy to navigate from.

Great location. You can really walk to anything you want to see in Florence. It's also only about a 5 minute walk to the train station. The hotel itself is truly historic with a nice entry and stairwell, but I found the room very plain and in need of updates.
