Our hosts were wonderful. Kind and caring. Marcia brought us homemade soup when my husband was not feeling well. The house is comfortable and clean. Quiet area. Beautiful sunsets. Marcia and Leonard available for anything we needed.
Was very nice quiet location. Host was always willing to answer any questions. Perfect for a 2 people. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family!
We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean and comfy. Our only wish is that the bed was larger. The owners are exceptional and attended to our every need. Close location to hiking, riding trails and sightseeing. We will definitely be coming back to this property. Absolutely loved our trip!
Very comfy home away from the hustle of city life yet within 9 miles of a historic areas. Hosts are wonderful people who make you feel right at home. The hot tub, stars and scenic beauty are just a plus. Would recommend this cottage to anyone.
Marsha was awesome. She is very friendly, helpful & communicates very well. We loved the little guest house. It is very quiet and peaceful there. It is fully furnished. It was exceptionally clean and we enjoyed our stay there immensely!
The hosts were the most hospitable folks that I've ever stayed with. They really made me feel like family. Couple that with all the lovely saguaros and coyotes howling in the night!
The hosts were great, we had nice visits with them, told us alot about the area. The guest house fit our needs perfectly. We spent a month riding side by sides exploring the area. Had a fantastic trip!!
This property has very accurately been described by the owners. Neat, clean, very serviceable, very affordable.
All correct. And the hosts are the best. We enjoyed.
Marsha and Leonard are the best hosts we’ve had at a Vrbo. We throughly enjoyed our stay! The rental was so clean and exactly as expected. We had everything we needed and then some. The homemade banana bread and fresh flowers were a real treat. Marsha was a built-in tour guide with excellent suggestions that we loved. Will definitely stay again!
Due to an unplanned medical problem our gracious host, Marsha, offered us very nice studio apartment attached to the house. It had a privet entry and patio with hot tub. It also had a king size bed that was very comfortable. The kitchen did not have a stove but did have a toaster oven and this was fine for us since we ate out most nights. Over all we had a great stay and the Wahls bent over backwards to make sure all was well. The only problem was our own doing as to get to places was farther that we thought. Not really a big deal and the surrounding area was great. Thanks again for a good place to stay.
Our hosts Marsha n Len were super special. Greated us warmly and made us feel at home.
The unit is super clean and cozy!
Evening sunsets are amazing and morning surise with a coffee is a must.
Make sure you block off a bit of time each day to throw the ball for Nick the resident border collie he really appreciates it.
If you are into birds or just amused by the simple things every night sunset there is the running of the quails! They all arrive in the yard by foot and make a run for a safe tree to nest in for the night. Really special to witness. If you watch from the bedroom window they don't even know you are there.
We loved our week there and will be back! Gary n Brigitte.
A wonderful place for a retreat to the quiet, beautiful AZ desert
The guest house is in a home separate from the main home, and on a country road a few miles from town - so quiet and relaxing!! The space works perfectly for 1 or 2 and is well thought out, immaculate and comfortable. Full kitchen and washer/dryer are great! Our bikes were perfectly safe outside on our car. The hosts are SO friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area! For us, it was simply the perfect place to get away, rest, and explore the beauty and climate of AZ! It is about half an hour to Phoenix metro and about 90 min from Tucson (we traveled to both for dining/museums, etc.) and the Florence area boasts several beautiful Saguaro-rich areas, mountain ranges, hiking, biking and more. Enjoy!!
This is a special opportunity. Close enough to all interests we had, but far enough out, that you can easily see the stars at nite. Great accommodations, set up extremely well kept and fully equipped. Our hosts felt like family in a short time. Some very nice and extremely helpful people, made the adventure special.
I would return as often as I could. It was a marvelous vacation.

Good base for making day trips
The hosts are super nice! Very friendly and helpful. The apartment is clean and nicely furnished. A few minor problems were fixed immediately. Location is quiet and convenient. There are lots of interesting places around for day trips. All in all, a good value for the money. Internet connection is not good, but there is a McDonalds in Florence.
