A little older and not the Ritz, but it was very nice and more than adequate. Roof top bar has spectacular views of the city. It’s also very close to everything near the city center and train station. Breakfast was fantastic for all types of breakfast types. American, European, etc. Would stay again.

Great hotel in very good location. We had a great room overlooking the inner courtyard (with a little balcony). Upstairs there was a rooftop bar which was very enjoyable way to finish the day. There was also a small swimming pool in the courtyard, which we enjoyed - even though it was October! The breakfast area had plenty of space for everyone and the food selection was excellent. Importantly, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would automatically choose this hotel when returning to Florence and would recommend to any friends visiting.

This was a great hotel great location easy to walk to everything from my location. The beautiful rooftop bar was amazing and a complementary breakfast was great as well. The staff was very helpful. The room was perfect and clean overall the whole hotel was clean. I did a nice little walk around as soon as I get there I will be staying there again when I go back.

Great location, fabulous breakfast spread, nice pool area, rooms are nice, front desk very helpful and pleasant, rooftop is very nice and has great views., WiFi is really reliable too! We travelled to Florence by train, and the Croce di Malta hotel was a great place to stay because of it's proximity to the train station while also being close to the major sites of the city. The room was very standard with a comfortable bed and enough space to be able to get around without tripping over things. The bathroom was also decent sized and met all of our needs very well. Our room also had access to a small outside sitting area with a great view of the tiled roofs of Florence and the countryside in the distance. Breakfast was provided, and had a good selection of the traditional Italian pastries along with American breakfast options. There are many patisseries in the area, but the hotel breakfast was a convenient alternative The hotel sits just steps from the piazza of Santa Maria Novella which also had a variety of dining options. Also, sites such as the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and others are within 10 to 15 minutes on foot. The hotel was also good starting point just to wander the streets of Florence and make our own discoveries.

The location, staff and pool are the best part of this hotel. We were a family of six. The front desk staff is always welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooms are a bit dated. It could surely use a new coat of paint.. The bathroom set up is poor as the shower head is in the middle of the tub causing much water to spray onto the floor. Previous water damage on the bathroom doors are evident. Otherwise a good stay!

There is much to commend this hotel. Excellent location, 10 minutes from all sights, close to the station and to many restaurants. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We chose the hotel for the pool and this did not disappoint. Excellent to have a dip after a day in the sun. Our room was spacious and clean but dated. Our main concerns were the electrics as the hotel hairdryer started smoking and sparked. The shower is over a bath. Lots of hot water but difficult to get in and out of if you have any mobility issues. Some grab rails would help. Some days the replacement bedding felt damp.

Great Hotel!

Create location near the train station, 24 hour desk, very friendly staff, rooms are very, very spacious. The breakfast buffet is one of the nicer ones that I’ve seen with lots of variety. I would happily stay here again; no questions asked.
