"We were disappointed with a couple of key features of this property that influenced our decision to book. The grill did not work. We had to find batteries for the igniter and replaced them, but it still didn’t work. Eventually we discovered the propane tank was empty. When we reached out, the property manager’s only options were for us to either go buy a tank ourselves and be reimbursed, or drive to their office to pick one up—neither of which felt like a reasonable resolution given that a working grill should have been ready when we arrived.The fireplace also did not work. The owners had provided instructions and videos, which we followed carefully, but it never turned on. We contacted the property manager for a resolution, but the modified instructions (which were different from those provided originally) also did not work. Both the grill and the fireplace were important to us when choosing between homes for our trip, so it was disappointing that neither was usable.Other than these two things, the house was wonderful and had we not planned our trip with the grill and fireplace in mind, we would’ve been very happy. "
