"We had a brief stay at this hotel in transit. We had an unfortunate introduction to the hotel due to the fact that it was only set up for single occupancy. We had been traveling for 9 hrs and had to go and tell reception about the situation. Someone came up some time later and handed us a duvet cover, pillow cases and towels, so we had to make up our own bed - wasn’t really expecting that. Apart from that the room was spacious and the bathroom and shower was good. We did not have breakfast."

"Very lovely hotel, the team are great and friendly, breakfast has a super team on which starts your day off. Just right. The Eggs Julian 🙌 we slept like logs as it was peaceful and quiet. Been a while since we stayed in such a restful property"

"We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, easy walking distance from the centre, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. I find it weird to have 2 single beds put together to create a larger bed as you tend to slip down between the 2 mattresses, other than that the room was nice, tidy and good enough to have a good night sleep. We’d definitely stay at Alpina again"

"A very comfortable hotel right next to the bus station which is handy for getting around and a cheap way of getting to and from the airport. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice and a terrace if you wanted to eat outside. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would happily stay here again."

"Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the lake that’s about 5 minutes away. Beautiful Mountain View. Definitely worth it super close to the town of Villach. We be back for sure!"
