Hotel Savica Garni - Sava Hotels & Resorts

"Spacious room with a lovely Mountain View from the balcony. Breakfast had plenty of choice - both continental style and some cooked items in the buffet, although not the best quality, but it was fine. Really good location, not far from the lake or Straza Bled. Plenty of restaurants etc around. We loved having complimentary access to the pool complex at the hotel opposite - we visited twice and it was so quiet, with a great choice of pools and an amazing view of the lake. Not the cheapest hotel (although far from the most expensive!) but it was a good stay overall."

"The hotel has an ideal location on lake Bohinj. It's a bit unclear where reception is when you arrive at the parking lot and first impression from the staff was not great. They were not very friendly for some reason. We upgraded from a basement room with a view of a parking lot 1st night to a great corner suite on top floor with an amazing view of the lake and mountain and a large bath 2nd night. Breakfast was good and we had light dinner and dessert at the hotel as well, which was good. Although, charging 20 euro for a cup of buckwheat is ridiculous, as much as I love buckwheat. Plenty of parking and there is a sauna and a large whirlpool. Wonderful location and concept, staff could be a bit more helpful at front desk and in the dining area. Muhr Villa dinner in day two was an amazing experience - another level."

"The staff was very helpful and patient regarding everything, even the breakfast was amazing! The rooms are pretty similar as shown in the pictures, even the amenities! They also let us use the pool after checking out, and store the luggage! So that was also v sweet! Service was amazing"

"The property has an A++ location and amenities, but it drastically needs a refresh. Elevator is old and slow (and only 1) and all room and common area decor is very dated and tired. It would be an amazing first class hotel with an upgrade as the location and boathouse amenity are unmatched anywhere in gorgeous Lake Bled."
