"Our stay at Hell Fyre was a delight. We were warmly welcomed by Louise, to find a well-stocked kitchen, and a warm and comfortable home. The period character of the house made this a special holiday for us. We stayed for three weeks, and were pleased to be able to extend our stay a bit – we so enjoyed living here. We walked the local pathways to villages close by. The location made it easy to take day trips to numerous castles, houses and gardens, and if we were ever at a loss for something...

"Biggest issue is the two single rooms can't lock their patio doors. While I concede the patio is below ground level and would be hard to reach it still means the appartment is accessible from the outside and leaves people in those rooms nervous. I contacted the host during the stay and got no response about this. The overall cost of the room (given it has 3 bedrooms) is reasonable."

"We had a great stay here as a group of 10 friends over Easter weekend. Lovely area to cook, eat and play games, with lots of nice walks close by. The house is charming and quirky in the best way."

"Issue with no towels provided this was eventually resolved after numerous messages, kitchen appliance not clean. House was spacious and comfortable if we hadn’t had the issues listed stay would have been good."
