"We spent about one month in the lovely Villa Manoutsio near Episkopi on the Island of Crete in Greece. The villa is very conveniently located to travel anywhere on the island. It is very close to the beach and has some absolutely gorgeous views. Our hosts were wonderful!! They went above and beyond any expectations we could have. The home was very clean and comfortable. It is also very child friendly - with games, toys and outdoor play equipment. The outdoor garden area is quite peaceful and includes a fabulous dining area with fireplace and grilling options. Perfect for outdoor entertainment.We would highly recommend this home and location for travelers with or without children. We would absolutely book again the next time we are fortunate enough to get to Crete."

"It was no lighting on the stairs at night. On even floors. They have a fountain. In the middle of the parking lot that you can have a big accident because it was no lighting there neither. But the rooms were comftable and breakfast outstanding "

"Fantastic sea view. Some staff poorly trained and unfriendly. Had to switch rooms 2 more times for two night stay after checkin due to party noise and clogged shower drain. Parking is in limited supply and in areas needing some walk from room. Buffet breakfast and dinner quality is average. Non smoking is not enforced in restaurant subjecting non smoker quests including babys to smoke."

"My family's stay at the cottage was wonderful. The home was spacious, clean and mostly comfortable (although the beds were a little bit too firm for my family). The mountain and sea views were fantastic! Herbert was a kind and gracious host and was always available in case we had any concerns. He was delightful to talk to and he has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Although we were on a pre-planned schedule, he was always willing to offer a tour of surrounding areas. All in all, the stay was marvelous and we'd recommend staying there to anyone spending their holiday on Crete!"

"We had truly amazing time in Pietra di Mare! Stunning location, great facility. Andreas and his family that owns the place were very nice, we had a little car issue and they were very kind to help us out. We felt very welcomed and at peace. Definitely would come back there next time we are in Crete!"

"Wow! This place is heaven! The views and the peace and quiet. The pool is fabulous and the grounds and apartments are spotless.They are fully equipped with everything you need and are really comfortable. The shower is great and the air conditioning is perfect. Although you dont need it through the day as it is lovely and cool in the apartment. Celine who takes care of the place is such a kind and caring lady. She is very discreet yet will do all she can to help if needed shes fab! I was welcomed with water, juice and Raki :) The beach is just at the bottom of the hill and goes for miles with beach bars galore and the food is great. There is a supermarket 2 mins in the car up the road. You will need a car to travel here. The people that I spoke to come back year after year. Everyone needs to come here! Its perfect! "

"This home is immaculately maintained by a family that will host you as if you were their family too. It is spacious and you will find everything you would ever want or need in your own home. The pool is huge and the grounds and gardens are so beautifully maintained that you will think you are in paradise. There is a private beach you can swim at also. You cannot ask for a better, more inviting home to have your family reunion or get together at!!!"

"My overall impression of that hotel: Never again! The attitude of the staff does not correspond to a 5* hotel, but rather a cheap hostel. "All-inclusive" statement is false - only cheap and low level drink is included. Any normal wines and cocktails are at the additional cost. Shouts and attitude of the local staff are just killing the vacation mood."
