"Tim who works the desk is very accommodating and personable. The check in was easy and straight forward. The property reminded me of a hunting cabin rather for fishing. It’s really just a bunk house but it has everything you need and they even provide a food saver with a roll of bags and plenty of ziplock bags for anyone taking home their catch. You’re right next to the marina. The only downside is that they are doing construction next door so it’s kind of a mess, but I would imagine they will...

Emerald Isle is great. It's quiet beach compared to others on the North Carolina coast. I enjoyed my trip and would love to visit Emerald Isle again in the future.

Quaint, low-key, residents (and guests) were so hospitable. There's bike path so you don't have to share the road with the cars. Beach and water were beautiful!

"This house was the closest to the beach that we have had in our 13 years of family vacations at Emerald Isle! The host helped us along the way and was available by text if we had any questions about where things were or how to make something work better in the house. There were directions with each TV and with the thermostat to help those who were not familiar with the technology. The house was well appointed and the kitchen had dishes and knives that worked great, pots and pans that were easy to use and skillets that didn't stick and burn everything! They even had a griddle so I could make pancakes and French toast for the masses. I am very happy with this house and the entire experience we have had from before we came to Emerald Isle through our checkout process. "

"This is our second year staying at this beautiful house and it is OUR FAVORITE. We are a family of 16 people. The house is accommodating, clean, well laid out, and cared for. The best part of this home is how the owner is so easy to contact and check in with. They make the entire stay so lovely. They also make sure to include beach chairs, boogie boards, and even a shibumi! Highly recommend. It's such a great house!!!"

"This was an awesome property. It was a great location and perfect for what we needed for the weekend. The walk to the beach was not bad and it was a great walkway to get there. We had everything we needed. Decor was great and it wasn’t too much. It was simple and very pretty. There was plenty of room and very open. I would definitely pick this one again. Thanks to the property owner for the communications and the ease of checkin and checkout!"
