Nestled in the serene heart of the Rich Mountains, this secluded house on 6 acres is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself is an ideal blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. High ceilings, large windows, and a stone fireplace create a cozy yet spacious feel, while the full kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches make it feel like a home away from home. Whether you're curling up with a good book, cooking a meal, or simply enjoying the view from the wrap-around porch, the space encourages relaxation and reconnection. The true beauty of this cabin lies in its seclusion. The only sounds you hear are the gentle rustling of leaves, the chirping of birds, and the occasional distant call of wildlife. It's an ideal setting for those looking to unplug, unwind, and embrace nature. For outdoor enthusiasts, the cabin is a gateway to hiking, exploring, and enjoying the Rich Mountain landscape. Ellijay itself is known for its apple orchards and it’s just a short drive away if you want to venture out for a day. A drive down the road takes you to Springer Mountain where the beginning of the famous Appalachian Trail starts or the Benton MacKaye Trail.

Please note horses are rotated to other pastures throughout the year and are not guaranteed to be there during your stay.

This was our 4th time staying here. We love it so much. The area is beautiful and the hiking is spectacular. The house so cozy, clean and comfortable. It’s hard to leave. Molly is such a great host. She has great advise about the area and is very quick to respond to any questions. Again LOVE it here and will definitely be back.

The place is perfect for a couple to get away from it all, very remote and quiet. You might hear a car a couple times a day but you probably won't see one. The view from the the back deck is incredible, no roads or buildings in sight. There's a screened porch if it rains or there's bugs but we had very little of those things for the two weeks we were there. It also has an outside part of the deck if you want some sun. Really a great set up. The inside of the cabin is also arranged very nicely. Tons of closet and cabinet and drawer space everyewhere! All of the rooms seem to be the right size, not huge but not small. I was impressed with the amount of cabinet and counter top space in the kitchen.Everything was neat and clean and Molly was very quick to answer any questions we had. No problem with cell service or internet service.What more could we ask for? Awesome

We really enjoyed the screen porch, listening to the birds, and the cool mountain air. The kitchen, bedroom, baths and living room were great! Very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The cabin was spotless and so well taken care of. Everything we needed was there...from a fully stocked kitchen to the paper items we usually need to bring ourselves! Information left around the cabin was helpful and check in was easy.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was great. Home was clean and there are some great views off of the back porch. If you like quiet solitude, this is the place. The gravel/dirt road coming in for 2 miles can be rough in spots, so take it slow especially in a vehicle with little ground clearance. A handy tip from me is save the house address in Google Maps in case you leave then come back after dark. When you turn onto the road coming back after dark leave your phone screen on to follow the blue line back to the house address. It's dark out there at night and very easy to make a wrong turn.

Very nice place. Very clean. Gravel road and driveway weren’t bad…and we were in a car with very little ground clearance. Nice to know that some dog’s nasty butt wasn’t sitting on the couch the day before.

Mountain vacation

This was a very nice house in a secluded area. Definitely a drive to get to most anywhere. All in all a great week to stay up in the mountains, especially coming from the flatlands of Florida.

Just what was needed

Everything was great. Very clean, well equipped and owner was quickly responsive.Just one thing was about tv streaming (not everybody has streaming channels or is techie enough to figure things out - that’s me!). Maybe have a regular system back up?

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful house with a gorgeous view. Very clean & neat. Quiet location. I would just suggest a couple of small cookie sheets and blinds on the side porch to come a third of the way down to enjoy the afternoon view without being blinded by the sun. We suggest taking food with you to prepare since it is quite a drive to go eat out. But we love the place.

Comfycozy

I hesitate to say anything because I want to return allll the time and I don’t want anyone else to know. This was the secluded, cozy, clean dream I didn’t know I needed. Wish it was longer and I will be back. This house had what we needed and then some. The epitome of mountain getaway

Quaint Clean Cozy

Mountain Getaway

This was our second time here at this very quiet, very relaxing location. This place is perfect for getting away. The deck is amazing as you can look at the mountains and just hangout and read. Local hiking is great and the local orchards have the best apples ever. Molly is the host with the most!!!!!!!!

Anniversary trip

The property is very picturesque and quiet. We were looking to get away for a quiet relaxing getaway and this was perfect. Quiet walks, visiting the horses and watching the sunset from the deck. There is almost 360 degrees mountain views. The cabin was clean, nicely decorated, had great water pressure and nice mattress(not too firm or too soft)! Definitely consider 4wd or Awd for the neighborhood. Our SUV didn't have an issue though. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful mountain getaway!

Cabin & surrounding area were just what we looking far.....seclusion but close to many different venues to explore. Cabin furnished with everything we needed. Hope to return for another visit.

Totally fine

Just not sure about the accuracy of the listing title? Hike out the door? Closest trails were 20-30 min drives. Very clean as advertised, but felt scattered and lots of sticky notes with rules to follow sucked a little bit of the fun out of the “romantic” aspect. Fine for the price point.
