"Loved the place. It was a surprise. I was born in Barranquilla but had not spent much time in Santa Marta. The developments of the last 20 years have been amazing. The Hotel property was great and with proper maintenance will become a jewel. The food at the 4th floor was great but again, the adjacent pool area and bar shows signs of wear and tear. I will return and will tell friends and family about it. Marriott must do its part. The staff was amazing. Maintain, clean, maintain, clean!!!!"

"It’s super nice resort with lots to do and right on the beach. Great buffet, lots of walking. Pools were awesome. The other restaurants inside the hotel were not so good. Food is tasty, bland and repetitive. Better to eat either only the buffet for breakfast or lunch. Or just go out near the shopping for better lunch."
