Morag was very welcoming and support us in all the questions and doubts we had from the first we contact her until the end. My family loved so much this place and it is very well equipped in the kitchen and rooms. Views were stunning and it was a place to have great rest and for relaxing. It was a surprised knowing is a completely hub with a coffee shop downstairs where we had a lovely breakfast, the granola with Yester’s yogurth was lovely and cake delicious! Everything is sourced from the local area which is something we looking when we are out. The place is 30 minutes from Edinburgh, Rosslyn Chapel and Stirling ( an hour) and we really needed more time to look more around the north where you can find beach and lovely places to eat sea food!. Overall it overcome our expectations and we thank Morag and team for providing such a lovely experience in East Lothian.
We didn’t knew they can also provided frozen meals and also if you like to stay in the are you can enjoy lovely lunch in the coffee shop. Something to consider if you are interested to not cook for some days.
A very spacious and well equiped apartment. Comfortable beds fantastic rural outlook. Its a bonus that the Humbie Hub with cafe, bakery and limited provisions is located below the apartment. Humbie is a small locality with no other infrastructure and requires you to have transport to attend pubs and other local tourist attractions.
We had such a good stay. Used it as a much better option for pricing than Edinburgh. A little bit of a drive. Loved the store underneath the ladies that run it and the beautiful countryside it is in the middle of. We had three nights there and wished it was longer. Thank you for a 10 out of 10.
We loved this gorgeous pit stop. The views are to die for and paint worthy! The shop downstairs was also really lovely to have on our doorstep. It's a great location as we nipped into nearby Haddington to visit the quaint shops and do a beautiful walk. We also did the Humbie Church walk. The countryside is stunning and the appartment was cosy and a great size for our family!
Overall we were pleased with our stay. The flat was very spacious and clean, and very well equipped. The property owner was nice. It is very remote which may suit some and not others. I liked sitting on the balcony, looking out at the hills and hearing nature rather than traffic! It was quite expensive especially with the cleaning charge.
