My husband and I needed a place to stay for one night after spending a week in the heart of Edinburgh, so the quietness of Queensferry was greatly appreciated. The location was wonderful for walking along the pier, and the room was comfortable and clean. It was perfect for a quick stop!

Lovely stay right by the water in Queensferry! Relatively nearby bus stations, the airport station is a 15 min walk uphill going from the hotel, so just be mindful of that if in need of a bus to the airport. Restaurant connected to Orocco had fantastic food and loved the convenience that provided. A few cute shops and other food options are nearby as well.

When we were checking in, there was an awkward moment where there was a manager speaking harshly to a staff member. It was uncomfortable and should have been done elsewhere. However, the young woman at the desk was so professional in handling it and she made it all disappear with the quick flick of a door. She was amazing at how she addressed it without a fuss. And whoever she is, she arranged for us to get a car in the morning. She was so professional and lovely. The restaurant and the food was also so delicious. Great view and lively drinks.

The Orocco Pier is a quaint hotel right in the middle of downtown. It was very clean and the evening staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The 4 stars is for very very limited parking in the surrounding area and the grouchy morning front desk/waitress in the morning.

The room was good except for the bed. It was too soft with a ridge in the middle. The food at the restaurant was very good. Everyone was helpful. The parking was terrible but that wasn’t the hotel problem.

Cute little boutique hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed having the choice of two restaurants attached to the hotel. I had dinner at one and breakfast at the other and they both were delicious with excellent service. On the con side, I disliked the lighting in the room, which is primarily ceiling can lighting. It made it hard to see things like the thermostat (I had to use the flashlight on my phone), or my face in the mirror in the bathroom to apply makeup. Overall I would stay again if in the area.
