Enjoyed our stay. Room was very small and pull out was awful to sleep on as part of it was broken. Barely big enough for a child never mind a man. Room and hotel was clean, breakfast was excellent and was very close to transit .

Great hotel. Property and rooms clean and comfortable. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Loved everything about this hotel. The hotel location was just wanted we wanted, not in the heart of all the hustle and bustle but still walkable (20 minutes) or short taxi ride away from all the main attractions. Highly recommend this property.

Ideally situated for accessing the city by means of walking or public buses. One way system from city can increase taxi or uber charges. Good seating area. Nice gym area. Complimentary coffee first thing. Good bar but sadly very slow service.

If you like an industrial look then you’ll love this Moxy. Twin room perfectly sufficient and very clean. Bar service not always very quick but very nice staff. Lovely friendly vibe to it.

Our first time in Edinburgh and our first Moxy stay. Great first impressions by reception staff when we found out there is a free welcome drink! 😉 We had the free drinks and more in the bar a couple of evenings and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our room was a good size and very clean as was the bathroom. Very nice toiletries too! There is a hanging rail and grid with hooks to hang things instead of a wardrobe which I liked, and a similar shelf for the kettle etc. For info there is no room safe or fridge/minibar at this hotel. Two seating areas, a squishy chair/cushion in one corner and a footstool. Very handy as in so many hotels one of us has to sit on the bed! We both slept really well and room was a good temperature. Able to open the window too which was great for fresh air overnight instead of aircon, although the area is busy 24hrs and the noise could keep you awake. We found by the second night we were used to it though. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the station by bus or 30 to walk if you’re quite fit, route is mostly flat. We would be happy to stay here again.
