"We stayed in the 2 king suite that has been newly remodeled. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The rainfall multi-headed shower was amazing! The kitchen is ready to use with dishes, cups and utensils. There is active remodeling happening now, but it did not affect our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to stay again!"

"I really loved the Riverside view! The bathroom was huge and had great lighting. The breakfast was so yummy! The hot tub was a great experience being able to see the night sky's and river flow! Would definitely be returning!"

"Had a great one-night stay at the Alpine Lodge. Vicki in the front office was super helpful. The room was sparse but had everything we needed -- except a hairdryer; I should have checked before washing my hair! We had a great view of the village of Red River, and the mountains. Close to the brewery on one side and Vine for breakfast on the other side. Hot tubs were another great feature that we didn't actually use, but could have."

"It was too small bathroom. The upstairs stairway was unsafe. Bed was so high off the floor made it difficult to get in for 73/77 year old. I would like you to put what floor you want on . I have heart problems and the stairs were ridiculous step. Won’t be staying there again . Nothing to eat in town on a Monday. Pizza place was so full you couldn’t get in . Need more restaurants . "

"Booked room with a fireplace - just as well as we could not figure out the heating. Turns our a/c and heating are 2 separate units. Although we were there in May, a storm came through the night and power went off. Even so breakfast was great. Lovely place but the unexpected snow meant the pool and hot tub were not available. Would definitely stay again."

"This property is really within walking distance to the Taos Plaza, yet the resort offers a shuttle to wherever you want to go! Walked around the large property to view the various ponds some with goldfish, gardens, flowers and landscaping - all so relaxing and beautiful. Tooks plenty of photos! "

"There’s fancier options in Taos, but to stay on the Plaza is an iconic experience, even for those of us who are from New Mexico. The rooms are small as one might expect from a historical property, but well appointed and comfortable. The lobby and guest lounge are classic Land of Enchantment, and it’s super easy to walk and shop/eat/drink from the La Fonda. For a quick getaway, it’s a perfect spot."

"Luke communicated with us early and was always available for help. The property was clean and well kept up. Walk into the main entry and you’re greeted by a supply of umbrellas, coffee and/or fresh water infusers and plenty of seating with attractive outdoor patios for relaxing. Sam, who did housekeeping, was very pleasant and the rooms showed their commitment to cleanliness. "Kinda old feeling. Room was clean but carpet worn and spotted, for example. Windows frosted from age but clean. Breakfast of three small waffles, two strips of bacon, oj, coffee and a small portion of yogurt was a bit disappointing; well prepared but still disappointing. My second stay here. First time the guests were a fun loving group and so outside seating areas were "busy". This time everyone kept to themselves. My impression of property was definitely better first visit. I will go...
