The room temperature was very comfortable. The rooms was clean and stocked with everything I needed. On the other hand the shower contraption from the tub spigot was awful.

Historic Strater Hotel
We didn’t “stay” at the Strater Hotel we had an “experience”.The Strater Hotel is a step back in time. The Strater is the most unique hotel I’ve ever visited . The staff was excellent. Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn
The room was very clean and comfortable. Love the couch as sitting so often missing in motel rooms. For us, being near the breakfast room was great although it could be noisy at times. We loved the close proximity to the Durango and Silverton railroad and nearby restaurants.
