"Only 1 working elevator during my stay, no tissues, hand soap or water cups available in the room. Parking was gated, but access to the gated area required a call to the front desk, which was not explained upon check in. "

"I had a great stay at this property! I came to town for a family visit, and the location was perfect—super close to everywhere I needed to be, which made everything so convenient.The host was amazing with communication. She responded within minutes every time I reached out, which I really appreciated. She even allowed me the option for early check-in, which was very thoughtful. Although I ended up checking in around 4 PM since I was with family, it was still great to have that flexibility.Upon arrival, I will say the path leading up to the property is a little rocky, which made carrying my luggage and stroller a bit of a hassle. However, I was still able to manage and get settled in without too much trouble.Once inside, the property was very clean and well put together. Everything I needed was provided, which made the stay comfortable and stress-free. It truly felt like a hidden gem!The only minor issue I had was with the shower—the water stayed more on the warm side and was a bit of a struggle to get fully hot.Overall, this is a beautiful property, and I would absolutely love to stay here again the next time I’m in town!"

"I rented this house due to its proximity to redwoods and San Fransisco. Pros:-The house has 3 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and clean.-The host was a nice guy. The guest before us caused damage and took things. The host came by as we were moving in to refill toiletries and make sure we had towels, water and snacks.Cons:-There is NO AC. It was 80 and the house was hot. We did not sleep well. The host had 3 fans, but they didn't help. We spent more money than planned because I did not want to cook in a hot house. -The door situation was bad. The back door was sealed shut and the front door had a keyed lockset from both sides. We either all had to leave together or whomever stayed behind was locked in. Just weird and unsafe.-The house had a strong cooking smell. I opened windows downstairs every morning/evening to air it out. The disposal was broken and smelled bad. The washing machine smelled like mildew.-The perimeter fence was very ackward and frustrating. I appreciated the extra security, but there was no easy way to get into the property. You either park partially on the busy intersection or at the stop sign in front of the house while someone jumps out and slides open the gate. This house is affordable and could be great for a family with different expectations. We were just disappointed and I felt duped and I really wanted to let others know about our experience. I would have paid a bit more for a house with AC especially."

"The house was big enough for our family, lots of rooms and bathrooms. Specious. Needs attention for better cleaning of the bathrooms and floors tjough. and to update the bedding sheets, towels. Kitchen smelled moldy.No AC, it was 100 degrees upstairs..., "

"Don’t let our first impression discourage you! The cottage was smaller than expected for 4 people full time and the bedroom had a funny smell. There is no door between the bedroom and rest of the space (just a curtain). Finally, it would have been difficult to watch TV from the couch (but who does that on vacation?). Overall it was very nice for just 2. Our mistake was trying to house 4 rather than just sleep 4. We loved the great kitchen supplies and lovely bathroom, adorable private patio, and the sweet and responsive host. We felt safe and secure, it was relatively quiet for a normal neighborhood, and once we got settled in, it was a really great stay! Pay close attention to the details in the listing because there are no misrepresentations! It’s a great little cottage!"
