"We had a lovely 2 night stay at Orsett Hall. The grounds are lovely with an array of wild birds including green parakeets. The food was good with very generous portions. The room was clean. Bathroom was clean just had some sealant peeling off bottom of the bath. The bed was a bit too hard for me. We used the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. "Hotel is located a very short walk from Ilford station which affords a quick and easy access to Central London on Elizabeth Line. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurant around plus the hotel has one in the foyer Lovely, attentive staff. Nothing is too much to ask. Had my breakfast freshly cooked to order which was a nice touch. perfect. Will definitely return. "

"The hotel is great. Perfect location to visit Stratford and London Stadium. The only negative is that the beds aren’t overly comfortable and you seem to only get one pillow. I slept on my duvet as it was large enough to be folded and cover me too"

"Fantastic stay for MCM Comic Con at the Excel centre. The family that run the pub as well as the hotel are lovely and so friendly, the room was cosey but perfect for our stay. We usually put a do not disturb sign on when we're staying for a few nights, as we are happy to use towels for a few days and think about the eco impact of having your room cleaned everyday. On our second day back we found a bag on the door and a note with some extra tea and sugar as well as fresh towels if we wanted them,...

"Appeared family friendly - saw a few families at the hotel. Had a twin room and smaller bed was a little hard (but some people may prefer that). Staff very friendly Lots of plug sockets to cater for all electrical needs. Not too far from shopping area and 2 different subway stations, with bus stops directly outside the hotel as well. "
