The establishment upon arrival double charged me. Even though my booking was paid for before arrival. I had booked 2 rooms and they said we need to pay again.
The room didn't smell so good, not so fresh. Location is very good. We didn't use any facilities and didn't have breakfast as we had to leave too early. The people that stayed in the top room of the silo were very noisy late at night when they came back from where ever.
Right from the start the staff was friendly and helpful they got me a guide for a visit to the battlefield's of the Zulu wars the lady who was my guide Elisabeth was very good and informative the lady on the reception was very helpful and made sure I got a good safe journey home the staff was very very helpful the only one thing was they had no A.T.M has I had no transportation they got me a driver

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Hotel with stunning scenery and tranquility
Could do with adequate power points near bed for phone charging and bathroom sliding door latch broken
Beautiful breakfast bar
The welcome at the gate by a grumpy unsmiling woman set the tone. We were very disappointed with our room- round in shape with a pillar in the middle! The bathroom was small with nowhere to put anything. Dinner and breakfast were served in a large “canteen” like area and we were not expecting self-service from a buffet!
We booked a deluxe room, with private patio... the owner said that no such room was available. Offered no redress.
She also said that the hotel does not deal with Hotels.com??
No portarage was available and we were given our room keys ( on the first floor) and left to lug our own bags from car to room and down again.
This hotel caters for bus tours and probably does that OK.
Great stay, good food. I had a car accident in the nearby municipality and the manager came and help me sort out everything! I can never thank him enough! Amazing service, beyond expectations! Thank you so much!
We were on our way and just stop for the night in this very pleasant hotel.

AN INTERESTING AND PLEASING PLACE TO STAY
This is a Lodge which has lots of tours staying - people visiting the nearby Anglo-Zulu War Battlefields. So it's big but most of the rooms are placed in such a way it retains a 'small hotel' feel. there are two very big blocks of rooms too. But the hotel and grounds are immaculate. I had a few niggles but that doesn't stop me recommending it. I liked it.
friendly staff, good food, the lodge is in a quite place. We enjoyed nature. Overall service was good. I would recommend it to other travelers. we were overcharged but the refund was paid back without any hassles.
Unfortunately no longer offers most of the services advertised (Micro flights, horse riding, hiking trails, game drives). Signs indicate a sports resort and there was a dirt bike track is available, however seemed not in use as there were no bikes available. Staff were not sure of any offerings in the area who would cater for out door activities other than referring us to historical sites and museums. However there is untapped potential that if exploited, would have made this an incredible getaway.
Staff were friendly and some even washed the cars for their guests daily which was a pleasant surprise.
Grounds very impressive and well maintained as well as safe.
It was great to see the wildlife in the adjoining field ostrich, zebra, springbok etc.
Stayed in a business class room which was fine but block a little dated. The bed was firm but comfy enough and maid service was efficient in keeping room clean, so no problem there.
Chose to dine out in Dundee only so we could see more of the town. Spur restaurant is recommended.
Booking room on Expedia stated ... Last room available .... We were in a block of 16 rooms and only 5 were occupied whilst we were there.
