Very nice property. We could tell a few parts were dated, but they've kept it very clean and nice. Loved the common area with the pool. Very clean, smelled nice. Breakfast was excellent!! Front desk gentleman was great-he remembered our names at checkout and gave us a wonderful history of Dubuque. Old Chicago is attached and open late!! Very nice, we would stay again.

The hotel was in a great location. It was about a 5 minute drive to downtown Dubuque. The breakfast was very good. The pancakes were amazing (not your typical continental breakfast pancakes). The hotel itself was a bit outdated, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

The room and pol was great we will be back! Down sides: our room stayed it would sleep 5, but two double beds only and there was an extra $20 charge for a roll-away for the 5th person. The breakfast didn’t have oatmeal, and only breakfast potatoes for the plant based people…but had good options for the meat and gluten eaters in my family!
