Firstly, I would like to thank the lady who gave us an upgraded room as it was our wedding anniversary. A nice touch, however, the bed was actually two mattresses joined together; therefore you could feel the joint whilst trying to sleep. To avoid discomfort I had to lay apart from my wife, which did not impress her as she likes to be cuddled in bed.
The lighting in the room was not ideal either. Very squeaky floor boards too.
Lastly, one morning when we entered the dining room for breakfast two gentlemen were engaged in a mobile phone conversation with the loud speaker on. One of the men was quite vocal. I have absolutely no inclination in wishing to listen to anyones conversation. I find it very rude and annoying. All my wife and I wanted to do was sit and enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We asked to move seats so the waitress moved us to another table, but we could still hear those men. To add insult to injury, there was another man on his mobile phone speaking in some foreign language. If people have to take a call then I suggest they do it elsewhere.
