"This was a beautiful property out of the touristy hustle and bustle. The view was breathtaking with the ocean just across the street and a quaint public beach just a few minutes walk down the road. Anything we needed was only a 10-15 drive to get to(stores, groceries, food, etc.) Me and my husband came for our wedding anniversary and this was the first time we had been to Aruba and it did not disappoint. John our host was phenomenal and we are looking to make it a yearly trip. Loved the place so much, not to mention falling in the with all the neighborhood “street” dogs that would make friends with us and be our bestie the whole time. It was the icing on the trip to have a companion who followed me around the whole time. I would recommend this place to anyone….it was amazing and I can’t wait to plan my next trip back to Aruba and Beachfront Bella Horizonte!!!!!"

"Absolutely refreshing and gorgeous! House is beautifully laid out in a quiet neighborhood. So many amenities provided. Felt like our home away from home. Breakfast was spent out on the patio watching the southern beach around half a mile away, as the bird flies. Washed off sand at the outdoor shower. Spent countless hours in the hammock and lounger. Many evenings ended up in the Birds Nest looking at the stars and cruise ships sailing out. So many extras included. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee, sugar, a few spices, freezer blocks, 2 coolers, blender, 2 beach chairs, 3 beach towels, sufficient toilet paper. Beautiful and peaceful grounds with flowering plants and palm trees. Only issue was knowing exactly where the property was, which I am adding to Google maps. Roads are confusing in Aruba since signage is minimal, but Google maps did a superb job. Highly recommend this property for relaxation and peace!!!!"

"We loved our stay! The location is just a few minutes walk away from the beach! The home was equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, snorkel gear and more- we were so appreciative of this. The beds are super comfortable and there’s lots of towels. Air conditioning works well and there’s a cute outdoor area. Highly recommend!"

A real gem close to the rough coast!

"Fantastic! I am not much on crowds and this was relatively isolated with great sunrise/moonrise views from the patio. The house was hard to find so we contacted the owner who met us at a store and led us to the location. The decent sized pool was well enjoyed by us, usually 2-3 times a day. We rarely saw the homeowners unless there was an issue, or they wanted to say goodbye. It was centrally located on the island, close to Arikok National Park and easy drive to the busier western coast and the lovely beaches found there. We ended up cooking most of our meals and the kitchen was well supplied for our needs. We found out pretty quickly that the micro-sized ants could get into our food readily, so the refrigerator was used to thwart their daily raids. The bedroom was comfortable with an AC to make sleeping easy in the fairly warm, windy weather. There were several somewhat friendly cats and a dog or two that wandered by to visit. The yard had strings of lights set up, at the ready if you needed them after the sun set. It was so hard to leave this beautiful desert oasis."
