"We sought a week's holiday for us (grandparents), 2 daughters and their partners plus a 3 year old and a baby. Being sensible and pessimistic about summer weather in northern France, an indoor pool was a priority. We wanted to be able to access beaches and towns of historical/architectural interest too. This 4 bedroomed property in Tingry fitted the bill perfectly. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean, large, well furnished, 3 table options for dining, 2 indoors and one outdoors. The outside large, shared garden complete with slide, swings and climbing frame was great for the 3 year old (and those a little older).The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful. We were provided with baby equipment such as a baby bath and high chair.There are 7 gites in all. The sizeable car park behind the gites means the courtyard area and garden are free from parked cars. My low expectation of the weather was accurate, even in 2026. We hit the rainy August week. No matter, the indoor swimming pool was perfect. Not too cold, it allowed the 3 year old to develop water confidence, supervised by parents and extended family. The pool was absolutely perfect. People played petanque on the pitch and tennis on the court, while the table tennis also attracted players, and this is under cover. We would consider returning as a group, or even as a couple in one of the smaller properties. It really was good and met our needs well despite wifi hiccupsThere is a large supermarket 5 mins drve away."

"I arrived late, 10pm on the 8th July because of problems on the euro tunnel. The restaurant was very busy, the staff working flat out. They still served me a nice dinner. I really did appreciate that."
