John is lovely and cares about his guests. The accommodation is very clean and functional, but a little tired. Access to the lake is great and so is parking. We also got great dinner recommendations and fishing at the lake was a lot of fun with our five kids. They had a blast.

Nice lake side hotel with quiet beach

We needed a few days to get away for a change of pace. We found diamond cove the night before and decided to stay for 4 days. They have updated kitchenettes and comfortable bedding. They have wifi from all locations on the property. The beach is quiet,clean with lounge chairs, rowboats and kyacks. They have a small work out room and small game room with two play grounds for small children. It's not the Hilton but it's a ok mountain get away on Lake George.

Home away from home!

The staff were very nice and made you feel part of the family, especially John! We arrived a little late than expected, but he was there to greet us with open arms. The lake was very beautiful and serene. This was a great Glamping experience for my family. We look forward to going back!

No towels, no shampoo, no paper towels.

We stayed over Memorial day w/e. We were extremely disappointed. The cabin was cold, and lacked many of the "basics" such as shampoo, towels, paper towels, or even salt and paper. The "beach" was a very small stretch of sand....Our cabin had no view "which was the only reason I reserved a cabin at "Diamond cove".. I certainly would not go back nor recommended to anyone....

Horrible place to stay

This place was horrible! We paid a huge amount to stay, essentially, in a garage apartment. There were signs all over that said don't use. This was the worst place I have ever stayed

First Timer and Will come back to Diamond CCottages next year!

Views from the private beach were great. Access to kayaks and boats were convenient. The private grills were cleaned daily as well as the beach chairs dryed and cleaned each morning as well as a freshly racked sandy beach to wake to. Kids were able to roam the secure area and enjoy the Adirondack atmosphere as well as make new friends. The owners and their family were incredibly hospitable, professional and freindly (a task that requires hard work) Coming back next year

Diamond Cove Experience

This was my first time at Diamond Cove Cottages so I was unsure of what to expect. The whole experience was in a word, wonderful. This is a great place for families with small children. I have a 5 year old and 22 month old and they loved playing on the beach and in the lake. They also enjoyed the many playgrounds on the lot and the amount of ducks that greet them at every turn. Since our cottage had a full kitchen, we were able to prepare our meals and take advantage of the patio on our front deck and picnic tables on the grounds. It is conveniently located and close to all the major attractions. John was very hospitable and always wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed. Definitely a must stay if you are in the area. Thank you Sincerely, Carmela and the rest of the family

I WANT TO GO BACK!!!!!

We rented cabin #1, which is directly on the beach. Fabulous view! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Best part is the night bonfires where all the guests hang out and get to know each other. We had a great time and are looking forward to going back. I don't think I would want to stay anywhere else on Lake George!

A Hidden Gem

Affordable & great location. Diamond Cove is located minutes from the village of Lake George. Interesting styled cottages. It wasn't all that i was expecting, but the room was large, clean, and very homey. The cottages do not include towels in the room, so bring your own. the hotel staff, quickly gave me a bag of fresh towels when I requested. Hotels rules posted state you must check-in by 5pm unless u call ahead. i was not aware of this and arrived at 9pm and they didn't say a word, let me sign register. Nice pleasant stay. There is a cozy beach on the property which is a huge plus, amazing views, and free usage of the kayaks was an unexpected amazing bonus. We will gladly return to this location if and when I return to the beautiful Lake George area.

I don't normally go to the same place twice, but better believe it, this is the best you can get on Lake George and we will be back! The beach is cleaned and evened every morning, the cottages are so nicely furnished and clean. Lake access is great, plus you can bring your own boat. The owners are the sweetest people ever! They are very helpful with anything! Just ask, they are always there to help. Very kind and pleasant to deal with which makes the stay that much better!!! Any attractions, suggestions, you can all get at the office. We stayed in unit 26, it has flat screen tvs, a king size bed in one of the 3 bedrooms and the kitchen is impeccable! A bit pricey but you get what you pay for, and I haven't found better value with all the amenities included on Lake George as good as this. I just want to say thank you to the entire family at Diamond Cove for making our stay so special! See you next year!!!
