We stayed for 5 nights in the ultimate room with a spa bath.
ROOM: Very nice, very clean and new. the bed was really soft and comfortable with pure white sheets. Air conditioning is good and strong. Wifi works throughout the hotel and out on the beach as well. The room had a free-standing bathtub and shower. Our sit-out balcony had a seaview through the palm trees.
HOTEL LOCATION: the hotel is located on the local island of Dharavandhoo, right on on the bikini beach. It is at at one end of the island, a 5 minute walk from the jetty.
BEACH: The beach is clean and has a great house reef for snorkelling. The hotel provides sunbeds and there are trees to provide shade. The beach is stunning, a long stretch of clean white sandy beach. Great for snorkelling, the house reef has many fish. The hotel arranges diving, snorkelling and fishing excursions.
FOOD: Food was great, a la carte menu and had everything we needed. The chef is good, the food is tasty and we did not feel the need to try a meal anywhere else. You need to order food an hour in advance though.
STAFF: All of them were friendly, helpful and smiling. We felt very welcome. A big thank you to Sarah, Anna, Frank, Saalim, Jibran and the owner, Mr.Yoosuf Nawaal.
OVERVIEW: Dharavandhoo is a beautiful island with stunning beaches and awesome snorkelling. Kiha Beach is the best guesthouse on the island, and was our best local island experience in the Maldives. Truly a gem, we will be coming back here.
