"The room was very clean, the gal at the front desk was new but super friendly, & we loved the small town atmosphere. The only thing we were missing was a coffee pot in the room & maybe a couple more pillows! All in all, great overnight stay!"

"My father was stranded in De Soto and needed a place to stay. I was able to book him a room at this motel until I could arrange a flight home to return him to Seattle. The staff was extremely helpful with accommodating him, and even gave him a ride to the airport so he wouldn’t miss his flight. I am extremely grateful to the staff for helping my dad get home safely. If I ever need to stay in De Soto I will seriously consider using their services!"

"This was an amazing place and just what we needed to relax and unwind. We stayed one night as we were here for junior Olympics. The place was perfectly located for us and provided privacy and relaxation. The host was amazing and kind- she provided timely feedback and really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Would highly recommend this place!!"

" We had an amazing stay and would absolutely book here again!We came to Iowa for the Hinterland Music Festival, and this house was the perfect location—just minutes from the festival grounds, making it incredibly easy to get back and forth. The home was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay.Paige was an outstanding host. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked through checkout. We even accidentally nicked a door frame with my wheelchair during our stay, and she couldn’t have been more kind and understanding about it. This trip was especially meaningful because it was a surprise birthday trip for our daughter, and seeing her favorite group, KATSEYE, perform made for memories we’ll never forget. Having such a comfortable place to come back to each night made the experience even better.If you’re coming to Hinterland—or just looking for a peaceful place to stay in the area—I can’t recommend this property enough. We’d happily stay here again! "
