The proximity to the Spirit of Tas wharf is ideal for late arrivals and early departures. The staff are polite and very helpful. The building is a little dated but it was quite adequate for the purpose.

The Edgewater Hotel offers an extremely reasonably priced stay that is almost as close as you can get to the Spirit of Tasmania. It is clean, comfortable and convenient. You would need to drive around to Devonport itself to find a range of shops and restaurants.
