The staff was extremely friendly, considerate, professional, and helpful. The room is was initially given, and used the first night, was not intended to be rented as the TV was not operational. Unfortunately, night staff had not been informed. Because of my very late arrival, I decided not to persue an immediate room change; however, I did inform the office of the situation. The next morning I ws offered another suite and compensated in terms of a room upgrade for the inconvenience of relocating. The remainder of my stay was great as the suite was superb. The hours of the continental breakfast were perfect, 7-10 each day. It was a leisurely way to start my day. All in all, after that unfortunate start, the remainder of was great.

Hotel location was visible and easy to find. Hotel itself has two buildings that have the rooms. Upon checking in we found the pool has been unusable for 10+ months. The website did not inform you of this nor were we informed in any way prior other then arriving and reading it at the desk. I felt bad for the gals working the desk and having to take the disappointment for customers check-in in. BUT….. we were allowed to cancel our reservation without any questions or push back.

Staff was excellent. The property, at least our room needs attention. Bath tub would not drain, sink, drained very slowly, no towel bar, but there used to be one. Windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. The room door was extremely hard to open. Breakfast was great. Robin and Janis, excellent guest services.

The room was nicely remodeled, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was great and there was room for everyone to find a table. The only area for improvement was the cleanliness of the hallways, and carpeting, which did not smell so good. Fortunately, as soon as we entered our room everything was very nice. Hopefully, they will make the hallways as nice as the rooms soon.

It was an ok room, typical breakfast fare Advertised as having a pool. No pool. Most of the time never saw staff. Will clean room upon request Coffee pot in the room still had old used grounds pod in it. No cups to use to make coffee. Lobby had several nice activities and dvds to use. Nice location right off freeway. Honestly would go back

We loved staying at the quality inn when we stay in Detroit Lakes 5 times a year. But the last three times we stayed the water slides and hot tub have been out of order. Which is the man reason we used to stay here. The staff has always been amazing and breakfast is great. But with five kids, we are always so disappointed to show up and the slides and/or hot tub aren’t working.

The ice machines were not working, they were froze up. Their was police or ice agents activity their. On line they said the breakfast was open at 6:00 am, but didn't open up until 7 am. Change it please. Take off the previous owners off the web, it was very confusing. Other wise the breakfast was good, the juice machine was not working and had trouble with the waffle machine. Get things fix please. Will not go their again because of all these problems, poor management.

The hotel was decorated so beautifully for Fall. I wanted to sit in from of the lobby fireplace and read a book.. was so cozy. Staff at check in and check out were friendly and efficient. Breakfast had so many great options and the coffee was hot and delish. I will definitely go there again… hopefully soon!
