Booked 5/17-18 via Expedia, ran into a delay driving from Wisconsin and called ahead stating I would be arriving after midnight. I arrived 5/18 at 155PM, and was told by manager Jolisa Wilkins that the rooms are currently being cleaned. I explained that I had a reservation, she stated my reservation was cancelled overnight due to my late arrival, and to seek a refund from expedia. I explained that this reservation explicitly stated no refunds, and asked if there was anything that she could do. She stated that there was nothing she could do since the reservation was already cancelled. I didn't think this made sense since I stated I would be arriving late and still checked in before next day check-in time of 3pm, and had already paid. Jolisa responded that I was not understanding what she was saying, and refused to do anything to help me. I asked how much another night would cost, I was quoted and told I would have to wait in line after others in the lobby. I left as I did not want to give this hotel anymore money, reached out to Expedia and they stated they would try to get me a refund. They got back to me, and said the property manager repeatedly refused to refund it. Overall, Jolisa did a very poor job at customer service, made me feel as though this was my fault and obviously rented this room to someone else to pocket double the rate. Very shady, would not recommend.
