We arrived at 8am, 8 hours before check in time and she held our luggage for us while we went to explore. Bathgate is a cute town and there are plenty of restaurants and shops walking distance from The Gables. The train station is an easy walk. We took the train into downtown Edinburgh. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, water nice and hot, and Wi-Fi is included. Mary provided bottled water, tea...
