"The entire property is in a state of disrepair. The spa wasn’t open. The pool wasn’t open. The sauna wasn’t open. The restaurant wasn’t open. The tennis court appeared to be totally overgrown. A walkway bridge had collapsed. If u want to experience a historic property in faded glory next to the Hudson River with fallen trees littering the walkways, without amenities, this is the stay for you."

"I had a lovely, quiet stay on the farmland. Everything was great."

"Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money "

"The place was clean. Only two issues. Septic smell in the bathroom. Children running around the floor above was very loud. Especially in the early morning."

"The Owl’s nest lived up to the expectations of a nature loving getaway complete with a woodsy trail. My family enjoyed our stay."

"A fantastic log cabin very private, quite and surrounded by wildlife. Close to amenities including some fantastic local wineries. Joyce was an excellent host who made us feel extremely welcome. Will definitely stay again and bring extended family..Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The property was perfect for our trip. It is secluded and private. Our host Enuma was proactive and responded quickly when we had any type of concern. We would gladly book there again."

"Beautiful location to relax. Staff was super friendly and made the stay great."

"We had prepaid a room through Expedia and the hotel did not honor that, saying they had no room for us. We have not received a refund."

"Excellent staff, quiet, cozy, clean, great location. The only thing to improve is water pressure in the shower was not good."

"Room was great. All facilities were clean and decor is very nice, modern and not old or worn out. Breakfast was above average. Only big problem was the use of the ev charger. My daughter has an ev and the front desk person was not helpful at all to my daughter in trying to turn in the power for the charger. It took way too many calls, downstairs visits and back and forth questions until front desk staff finally turned it on. Not sure why this was such a problem but it took way too away from...

"Theirs no machines for water, soda or snacks. Coffee machine just sitting in the lobby not working. And the store in the lobby suck too. Like come on, if you gonna run a business run it right.."

"The views and room design were beautiful, and we enjoyed the sauna and steam rooms. However, we expected the small indoor pool to feel more like a hot tub. The water was too cool for us to relax comfortably, although a staff member said the temperature was normal. Service also varied: the woman on the first day wasn’t very welcoming when we asked for coffee, while the man the next morning was warm and friendly. The New Paltz area is lovely for walks and a short getaway, but we would only...

"It was quiet and front desk was helpful."

"AC would not adjust at all. Was freezing all night!!!!!"
