"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !"

"the advert is a little bit misleading. Pinards Mountain Lodge is not near the sea. It is reachable 10 min from the sea only by car on a rough road. House is a duplex house (Tranquility suite 5 and 6). House is equipped with basic cutlery and a little bit old but has moskito nets at the windows. The area is stunning. "Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Eine Woche war definitiv zu wenig !Die Lage ist ideal: mitten im Grünen, 5 Min. zum Meer und trotzdem nahe an der Hauptstadt. Die nächste Tauchstation ist knapp 10 Min. entfernt. Im Regenwald und bei den meisten Wasserfällen ist man auch in 20 bis 30 Min. Einen Mietwagen würde ich auf Dominica unbedingt empfehlen.
