"I recently stayed at the Grand Eastern Hotel in Labasa and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I booked for two nights but had to check out a day early due to a serious maintenance issue. The bathroom hand basin pipe was damaged and leaking continuously, creating a loud noise that made it impossible for my family to sleep. I reported the problem to staff immediately, but was told tojust leave it leaking. The next morning, I raised the issue again and a worker came to inspect, but...

The staff was amazing and the food was wonderful! Drinking kava every evening with the crew and sharing stories was magical. The owners gave us a personalized tour of Labasa and meeting the people was amazing. If you enjoy scuba, diving and or snorkeling, every place we went was amazing. A big thank you to all!"

"This place is HORRIFIC. Everything is dirty, we were put into a windowless box in the middle of the building, the walls are paper thin, the rest of the tenants are horribly inconsiderate, blasting music late into the night, the only light was a harsh, uncovered fluorescent bulb screwed haphazardly into the ceiling, paint chips were flaking off in footlong lead based chunks, and plenty more that I don’t have the characters to describe. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"
