"The area/property I felt very safe and like the room doors being inside as well as front desk person present. The carpet was not clean upon entering room crumbs and such very noticeable, I let the Front Desk know I thought they would have somebody come up and vacuum it but they never did. My daughter forgot a toothbrush was very nice that they had one at no charge! A room had TV pretty loud 1 night and in morning kids were running down hall very loud. "The Deodara is a wonderful property, very historic and private. Just a great place to get away from everything. We had the Monarch room, which was perfect for us. Beautifully maintained and decorated, this house is everything that you want in a historic experience, but with all the modern comforts. It is close to many great local restaurants, so you don't have to venture far to grab a bite to eat. Just a wonderful get-away, we enjoyed it very much."

"It was great fishing but no electricity and Jug water you have carry to be able take shower. Composting toilet . Everything would be great if you could drive to cabin you have walk away . And you use a wagon bring your stuff to cabin. We left to go get something to eat it started raining. So we had walk back to cabin in rain . And the water runs across right where you have walk to go to cabin . We got our feet soaked as well as ourselves. It was really a pain having us a wagon when we bought ice...
