This part of the coast is a rocky cliff, but sandy beach access points are within a quick drive in either direction - Beverly Beach to the south is a great place to look for fossils or take the kids to run, and Fogarty Creek to the north is one of the best spots for tide pool searching and agate hunting. You can find great shopping and dining options to the north in Depoe Bay, or venture south to Newport for whale watching excursions, frequent events, and beautiful bays and beaches.
