"The room was clean, away from the traffic noise. Staff were very courteous and helpful. We took use of the pool which was very clean and is a salt water pool. Breakfast buffet was hot with lots of choices and very good."

"Staying at the Maverick was a mixed bag. It seems like it was designed for a younger crowd? The beds are low and one side is hard to access. The fire alarm went off at 4:15 one morning, forcing all the guests to leave their rooms and stand outside on the sidewalk while the fire dept checked it out. Then a longer wait was required for the host to show up and reset the alarms, which went off another 4 times after the building reopened. There is no staff onsite. Honestly, the best part of the stay was the cool water machine, which offers a variety of water options. This property was not a good value."

"Very nice hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and polite. Allowed us an early check in which was very helpful. Parking was free and abundant. Hot coffee and eggs for breakfast was nice. Easy walking to stores nearby. If you are traveling through this area, I recommend this hotel."

"We had a comfortable stay while we were in Pittsburgh to drop off our kid who is starting college. Initially, I panicked when the AC didn't work, but it kicked in after 5 minutes. The water dispenser is in the gym room which is bit of a pain. Breakfast was okay."
